The Crane Estate, Ipswich MA

One of the last remaining intact estates from the American Country Place era.
  Starting in 1910 industrialist Richard T Crane working with architect David Adler and landscape architects Arthur Shurcliff, the Olmstead Brothers and others designed 1,380 acres overlooking the ocean on Boston's North shore. The grand allée is the only known designed landscape of its kind still in existence in North America
